Here is how I’m related to Thomas Martin Moore.
Thomas Martin Moore (the elder) was my great-great grandfather. He came to Texas in a wagon from Arkansas when he was 3. He and his wife Evalyn Alice Freeman (who was born in Texas in 1854) were early settlers of Parker County and the frontier, just west of Fort Worth.
T.M. and Eva’s son Elmer Everett Moore was my great-grandfather. He was a blacksmith and later a furniture maker in Fort Worth.
Elmer’s son Thomas Martin Moore was my grandfather. He was born in Fort Worth and then lived in Corpus Christi and Dallas. He was a welder and later built and then owned Whataburger restaurants.
